Early Registrations
To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by 1 August 2025.
Emerging Professionals (EP) and Student Registrations
An Emerging Professional is an ICOMOS member who is under 30 years old at the time of the event, i.e. on 15 October 2025. A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognized educational institution (Bachelors, Masters or PhD) submitted in English, French or Nepali. Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. EPs are requested to send a copy of their passport and Students are requested to send a copy of the student identification card via email to info@icomosnepal.org.np for verification before registering to obtain a discount code. Without this, the full registration fee will be charged.

Virtual registrations for the statutory meetings and the 2025 Annual General Assembly of ICOMOS will be made available separately. Please be aware that certain meetings are exclusively accessible to members of the Advisory Committee and Board.
The Scientific Symposium sessions taking place in the auditorium will be live-streamed and information will be made available separately.

Registration confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation attaching a receipt, along with an invitation letter. If your email does not come through to your inbox, please check your junk mail settings. Your registration will only be confirmed upon full payment of fees. Consent to use of Information
By registering, participants acknowledge and consent to the use of all information provided for registration, by the organisers during the Annual General Assembly and Scientific Symposium, particularly to prepare the event badges and for identification purposes, as well as for statistical compilations. By registering, participants acknowledge and consent to the publication of abstracts and papers. Due credit will be given to the contributors. Recording
By registering, participants acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at the AGA2025 and the Scientific Symposium, their contributions to sessions and events may be recorded by an official of the conference. Insurance not Included
The organizers cannot accept liability for personal accident, loss, or damage to private property, which may be incurred as a result of the participation in the ICOMOS AGA and Scientific Symposium. Participants are, therefore, advised to arrange appropriate insurance coverage. ICOMOS Nepal cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance.
No Refund
There are no provisions for refunding registration fees, since the payments will be directly converted into Nepali Rupees which is not a convertible currency. Should there be any queries related to this, please contact info@icomosnepal.org.np
Code of Conduct
ICOMOS Nepal is dedicated to providing a safe, hospitable and productive environment for everyone attending our events. Considerations, and respect, is expected in speech and actions. We also request all participants to respect the local customs, particularly considering Lumbini to be a sacred site. This would include: appropriate clothing, being considerate when taking photographs of people, and visit sites with mindfulness. (Note: within the Inner Sacred Garden everyone is required to remove their shoes, and photography is not allowed within the Mayadevi Temple Structure).
